Along for the Ride by Sarah Dessen is mainly about a teenage girl named Auden, who is about to start her college life. She goes to stay with her stepmother,father and her soon to-be baby sister. While she stays there she gets many surprises a long the way. Auden's life starts to slowly turn into a drama, and she experiences new things a long the way as well. Auden starts to experience riding a bike, life with her father and step mother, having a baby sister, and dating. The readers go 'Along for the Ride' in Sarah Dessen's journey filled novel.

Parker goes through many things through the book, and its through her point of view of how her high school life went. In the novel Cracked Up To Be by Courtney Summers the main character Parker Fadley is far from perfect. Her parents are on suicide watch, Parker quit the cheerleading squad, she's failing school and she broke up with her picture perfect boyfriend. Parker has a secret, but she can't reveal it to people, so she keeps it bottled up inside her. The only thing she needs in order to let her secret out to others even herself is, if she was left alone for once instead of being surrounded by people that are preventing her from letting her secret out.

I really enjoyed the novel Born On a Blue Day by Daniel Tammet. In the book Daniel was a boy who had many talents when it came to schoolwork such as, math and many other subjects. He is a very smart man who goes through many things in his life other than dealing with his autism. Daniel ends up discovering many things. He discovers his sexuality, that he is gay. Also he meets people throughout the book and tries to achieve his goals. Also he meets a guy named Neil who he has a very tight bond with, and they can relate to eachother. Over all the novel was very interesting and a very positive look on how people with autism deal with it in different ways.

He talks about the fascinating things that happen in his mind, and how his mind is unique from all others. Daniel, talks about his strong mental abilities, and how he puts it to great use. Daniel mentions, how he can learn a number of languages really quickly, and how he can do amazing calculations in his head. Throughout the book Daniel talks about how his mind, shows who he is as a person, and what makes him himself.
